ROUND 2 RACE 1 BARCELLONA WORLD SUPERBIKE – P. 11 MICHAEL RUBEN RINALDI #21
Il secondo giorno del round 2, che si svolge nel circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, si è concluso. Michael Ruben Rinaldi, partito dalla sedicesima posizione, è riuscito a recuperare e raggiungere l’undicesima posizione. Strappa una gara ad un soffio dalla top ten ma è l’insoddisfazione a vincere nel box. Bisogna guardare alla griglia, sempre più competitiva, ma anche guardarsi dentro e trovare tutte le capacità necessarie per ben figurare. Da un lato le attese non sono ripagate, dall’altro c’è il desiderio, la voglia e l’impegno per ritrovare quel feeling che serva al gruppo di lavoro per esprimersi ai livelli a cui i tifosi di Motocorsa si sono abituati. Si può, si vuole, si crede di poter dare di più. E c’è un piano di lavoro ben preciso da far andare a buon fine, ed inizia con una bella nottata di lavoro.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi: Week end che si prospetta in salita perché in gara abbiamo provato a spingere un po’ ma ci manca veramente feeling. Per essere una pista in cui sono sempre andato forte ed ho fatto sempre podio, il risultato di oggi non è soddisfacente. Dobbiamo continuare a lavorare fino a quando non troviamo la strada giusta.
Lorenzo Mauri: Questo 2024, con tutti questi arrivi e questi piloti forti, rende la top ten un risultato davvero difficile. Ci siamo arrivati vicini oggi e stiamo lavorando per migliorare domani. Dobbiamo rientrare nei primi nove per potercela giocare meglio in gara 2. Non è però questo il nostro obiettivo personale. Dobbiamo smettere di fare fatica nei primi turni come è successo oggi anche nelle qualifiche ufficiali per non dover essere costretti a rimontare posizioni in gara uno. Il feeling è buono ma non è ancora quello che vorrebbe Michael, quindi dobbiamo lavorare affinché lui sia a suo agio e possa dare il meglio. Fare nottata non ci fa paura, se è quello che serve.

RACE 1 IN THE 11 POSITION, BUT WE’RE AIMING FOR THE TOP TEN

The second day of the second round in Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya is ended. Michael Ruben Rinaldi, started in the 16 position, but he succeeded to arrive at the 11 position. Motocorsa snatches a race just outside the top ten but it is dissatisfaction that wins in the garage. We need to look at the grid, which is increasingly competitive, but also look inside and find all the skills necessary to do well. On the one hand the expectations are not rewarded, on the other there is the wish, desire and commitment to rediscover that feeling that the working group needs to express itself at the levels to which Motocorsa fans have become accustomed. We can, we want, we believe we can give more. And there is a very specific work plan to be carried out successfully, and it starts with good night’s work.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi: The weekend promises to be uphill because in the race we tried to push a little but we really lack feeling. For a track where I have always been strong and always placed on the podium, today’s result is not satisfactory. We have to keep working until we find the right path.
Lorenzo Mauri: This 2024, with all these arrivals and these strong riders, makes the top ten a truly difficult result. We got close today and are working to improve tomorrow. We need to get back into the top nine to be able to play better in game 2. However, this is not our personal goal. We must stop struggling in the first sessions as happened today also in the official qualifying so as not to be forced to make up positions in race one. The feeling is good but it is not yet what Michael would like, so we have to work so that he is comfortable with himself and can give his best. We’re not afraid of staying up all night, if that’s what it takes.
