Il week end di Assen si chiude con un sedicesimo posto in Superpole Race e un tredicesimo in Gara 2.
Evidentemente troppo poco rispetto anche alle più modeste aspettative di Motocorsa e Rinaldi che continuano a cercare il feeling giusto per chiudere nelle posizioni a cui sono entrambi abituati.
Alla fine, pur essendo teoricamente tutto ok, manca sempre qualcosa per essere soddisfatti ma soprattutto per smettere di guardare da lontano avversari teoricamente alla portata. Il lavoro non ci spaventa e il tempo potrebbe essere un alleato. Questa per noi sarà una finta pausa perché la useremo per tornare competitivi già a Misano.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi: “Un altro week end difficile. Sono dispiaciuto e senza parole. Onestamente non so cosa aggiungere se non che mi dispiace per i risultati che ci mancano. Ci stiamo impegnando tutti e stiamo provando tutte le soluzioni, però è evidente che siamo lontani. Continuiamo a lottare e non ci arrendiamo.”
Lorenzo Mauri: “Dopo la nona gara non abbiamo trovato ancora il bandolo della matassa. Abbiamo provato molte soluzioni e non abbiamo trovato il bilanciamento che cerca Michael. Abbiamo il pacchetto ufficiale come sospensioni, freni, moto ed elettronica eppure facciamo sempre fatica. La moto funziona ma manca il feeling e di questo siamo dispiaciuti. Il gap è un po’ troppo ampio e speriamo di riuscire a sfruttare questa pausa per colmare la distanza che ci separa dai più veloci.”

Clearly not enough compared to the most modest expectations of Motocorsa and Rinaldi that continue to look for the right feeling to end in the positions they are used to.
In the end, even if it’s everything ok, something is always missing to be satisfied but especially to stop looking from afar affordable adversaries. The work doesn’t scare us and the time can be ally. This will be a fake pause because we will use it to return competitive already at Misano.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi: “Another difficult week end. I feel awful and I’m speechless. Honestly I don’t know what to add except that I’m sorry for the results we miss. We are working hard and we are trying all the solutions, but we are far from now. We will keep to fight and we won’t give up.”
Lorenzo Mauri: “After the ninth race we haven’t found the solution yet. We tried a lot of solutions and we didn’t find the balance which Michael needs. We have the official package like suspensions, brakes, bike and electronic but we struggle. The bike works but there is a lack of feeling and we are sorry about that. The gap is a little too much and hopefully we will be able to make use of the pause to bridge the distance that separates us from faster riders.”
