Termina il venerdì di prove libere con un buon quarto posto il Team Motocorsa Racing con Michael Ruben Rinaldi, nel Circuito olandese di Assen.
Primo giorno con meteo incerto e tanto da provare!
La prima giornata in pista ad Assen è stata caratterizzata da meteo incerto e incontrollabile che, però, sarà presumibilmente la caratteristica di tutto il week end.
Michael è ok sull’asciutto ma vede ancora tanto lavoro da fare per essere competitivo anche sul bagnato.
Le buone notizie? I setup funzionano e se è vero che il bersaglio è ancora un po’ lontano, le frecce da scagliare sono ancora tante.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi: “Giornata particolare per via del meteo che ha stravolto il nostro piano di lavoro. Questa mattina siamo entrati per 20 minuti con pista umida per raccogliere un po’ di informazioni e questo ci ha consentito di fare uno step. Purtroppo al momento di provare altre cose ha iniziato a piovere e abbiamo concluso sotto l’acqua. La giornata è stata complicata ma il feeling con la moto non è male e sono contento. Per domani mi aspetto un’altra giornata con un meteo incerto ma noi faremo del nostro meglio.”
Lorenzo Mauri: “FP1 e FP2 hanno richiesto molto lavoro di setup e hanno dato esiti buoni sull’asciutto su una pista con poco grip. Siamo contenti per il setup sull’asciutto ma dobbiamo migliorare tanto in caso di bagnato. Ci sentiamo un po’ lontani dai migliori e per questo lavoreremo tutta la notte per fare delle belle qualifiche. Assen non è fra i circuiti preferiti di Michael ma noi abbiamo molti dati e dei setup che possono funzionare. Proveremo tutto quello che riusciremo a provare.”

MOTOCORSA RACING TEAM SEES THE LIGHT IN THE DARK SKY OF ASSEN – FP1 and FP2 P4th
Motocorsa Racing Team ends the day with a good fourth place with Michael Ruben Rinaldi, at the Dutch Circuit of Assen.
First day with uncertain weather and much to try!
The first day on the track at Assen was characterized by uncertain and out of control weather which wil probably be the characteristic of the entire weekend.
Michael is ok on the dry but he still sees a lot of work to do to be competitive on wet conditions too.
Good news? Setup works and if it’s true that the target is still a little far away, Motocorsa still has many arrows to shoot.
Michael Ruben Rinaldi: “Particular day due to the weather conditions which change our work plans. This morning we went in for 20 minutes on a damp track to gather some information and this allowed to make a step. Unfortunately, when it was time to try other things it started to rain and we ended up under water. The day was complicated but the feeling with the bike isn’t bad and I’m happy. I think that tomorrow will be like today and there will be uncertain weather conditions, but we will do our best.”
Lorenzo Mauri: “FP1 and FP” required a lot of setup work and gave us good results on the dry on a track with not much grip. We are satisfied for the dry setup but we need to improve a lot on wet conditions. We feel a little far from the best and for this reason we will work all night to have good qualifying. Assen is not one of Michael’s favorite circuits but we have a lot of data and our setups that can work. We will test everything we can.”
