ESTORIL FP1 P 17 – FP2 P 5
Prima giornata di prove libere sul circuito di Estoril decisamente positiva per Ryan Vickers e il team Motocorsa Racing. Il pilota britannico, alla sua prima esperienza sul tracciato portoghese, ha mostrato un ottimo adattamento, chiudendo la FP2 in quinta posizione.
Ryan Vickers:
“E’ stata la mia prima volta su questa pista e devo dire che mi è piaciuta subito. All’inizio delle FP1, mi sono serviti alcuni giri per capire bene il circuito. Abbiamo ancora alcune aree su cui lavorare, ma abbiamo concluso la giornata con sensazioni molto positive. Nelle FP2 ho migliorato il feeling con la moto e sono riuscito a segnare un tempo molto veloce nel finale. Sono davvero felice di essere nella top 5.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Siamo soddisfatti del lavoro svolto oggi, abbiamo ottenuto un buon risultato nelle FP2, con il quinto tempo. Non siamo riusciti a completare la simulazione in vista della Superpole, ma stiamo analizzando i dati per decidere quale gomma utilizzare domani in Gara 1, anche in base alle nuove mescole portate da Pirelli.”
RYAN VICKERS AND MOTOCORSA RACING MAKE THEIR TOP 5 DEBUT AT ESTORIL
ESTORIL FP1 P 17 – FP2 P 5
The first day of free practice at the Estoril circuit was very positive for Ryan Vickers and the Motocorsa Racing team. The British rider, in his first experience on the Portuguese track, showed excellent adaptation, finishing FP2 in fifth position.
Ryan Vickers:
“It was my first time on this track and I have to say I liked it straight away. At the start of FP1, it took me a few laps to get to grips with the circuit. We still have some areas to work on, but we ended the day feeling very positive. In FP2, I improved my feeling with the bike and managed to set a very fast time at the end. I’m really happy to be in the top 5”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“We are satisfied with the work done today. We achieved a good result in FP2, with the fifth fastest time. We weren’t able to complete the simulation for Superpole, but we are analysing the data to decide which tyre to use tomorrow in Race 1, also based on the new compounds brought by Pirelli”
