MOST SUPERPOLE RACE: P 17 RACE 2: 16
Il weekend di gara si è chiuso con segnali incoraggianti per il Motocorsa Racing Team. Dopo una Superpole Race in netta crescita e una Gara 2 disputata con tempi sul giro decisamente più rapidi rispetto al sabato, pilota e squadra confermano di aver imboccato la direzione giusta nello sviluppo della Ducati. Il lavoro fatto in pista e a casa ha già dato i primi frutti, ma l’obiettivo resta quello di colmare il gap con i migliori della Superbike. I test a Misano della prossima settimana saranno quindi fondamentali per compiere l’ulteriore step necessario prima del sesto round, la seconda tappa italiana del mondiale 2025.
Ryan Vickers:
“Nella Superpole race stamattina abbiamo fatto un grande step in avanti sul passo e abbiamo fatto un miglioramento sulla moto. Per quanto riguarda gara 2 personalmente sono molto contento perché ho girato 10 secondi più rapido sulla distanza di gara rispetto a ieri, ho fatto ogni giro sul 1.32, quindi è un bel passo avanti e siamo decisamente più veloci. Il feeling con la moto è migliore, ma dovremo fare un altro step per arrivare al nostro obiettivo, quindi abbiamo avuto alcune idee su cosa possiamo fare ai test di Misano la prossima settimana. Diventiamo sempre più veloci quindi ci arriveremo. Dobbiamo solamente continuare a lavorare.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Siamo in continua crescita, sia il team che il pilota, e i tempi sul cronometro lo dimostrano. Il livello della categoria Superbike si è alzato moltissimo e per il momento non riusciamo a trovare ciò che ci servirebbe per guadagnare qualche posizione in più. La squadra lavora anche da casa e il pilota è molto motivato, questo dimostra quanto il team Motocorsa Racing stia cercando in tutti i modi di trovare il bandolo della matassa per portare la moto in zona punti. La prossima settimana saremo ai due giorni di test a Misano e cercheremo di testare in pista per fare qualche step in avanti su entrambe le moto, in vista del sesto round, nella seconda tappa italiana della stagione 2025.”
VICKERS AND MOTOCROSS LOOKING FOR THE GAP TO CLOSE

The race weekend closed with encouraging signs for the Motocorsa Racing Team. After a Superpole Race in clear improvement and a Race 2 disputed with lap times decidedly faster than on Saturday, rider and team confirm that they have taken the right direction in the development of the Ducati. The work done on track and at home has already borne fruit, but the goal remains to close the gap to the best in Superbike. The tests at Misano next week will therefore be fundamental in order to make the further step needed before round six, the second Italian round of the 2025 World Championship.
Ryan Vickers:
“In the Superpole race this morning we made a big step forward on the pace and made an improvement on the bike. As for race two I’m personally very happy because I lapped 10 seconds faster over the race distance than yesterday, I did every lap in the 1.32s, so that’s a big step forward and we’re definitely faster. The feeling with the bike is better, but we will have to take another step to reach our target, so we had some ideas of what we can do at the Misano test next week. We are getting faster and faster so we will get there. We just have to keep working.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“We are constantly growing, both the team and the rider, and the lap times prove it. The level of the Superbike category has risen a lot and for the moment we cannot find what we need to gain a few more positions. The team is also working from home and the rider is very motivated, which shows how hard the Motocorsa Racing team is trying to find a way to get the bike into the points zone. Next week we will be at the two-day test at Misano and we will try to test on track to make some progress on both bikes, ahead of round six, the second Italian round of the 2025 season.”
