Sunday of Round 4 of the 2026 WorldSBK Championship at the Balaton Park Circuit for Team Motocorsa Racing and Alberto Surra began with a very positive Superpole Race, finished in sixth position after a solid and hard-fought race. That momentum carried into Race 2, where the Italian rider crossed the line in seventh place, completing a weekend consistently inside the top 10 and bringing home important points for the team.
On his first-ever appearance at the Hungarian circuit, Surra delivered a weekend of steady progress, with the work carried out by the team translating into concrete results on track. The performances confirm a clear step forward, both in terms of outright pace and in reducing the gap to the front, providing a solid foundation to build on moving forward.

ALBERTO SURRA – RIDER
“It was a really positive weekend. Race 2 was physically demanding, but I managed to hold on and bring home seventh place. We will keep working, even back home, to improve further, especially ahead of Most, another track I don’t know. The goal is to take another step forward and stay at the front. I’d like to thank the team — they’ve all been fantastic.”
LORENZO MAURI – TEAM MANAGER
“It was a weekend of clear progress, with strong results and consistent top 10 finishes. We are reducing the gap to the front and we’re very happy with the work done, but above all with Alberto Surra’s development. In two weeks we’ll be in Most, and we want to continue on this path.”
