BALATON FP1 P 10 – FP2 P 8
È iniziato con il piede giusto il weekend di gara per Ryan Vickers sul nuovissimo circuito di Balaton Park, concludendo in decima e ottava posizione le Free Practice 1 e 2. In una giornata caratterizzata da un tracciato inedito per i piloti, il portacolori del team Motocorsa Racing ha saputo adattarsi rapidamente, chiudendo le prime sessioni di libere nella top ten e confermando le buone sensazioni già emerse a Donington.
Ryan Vickers:
“Inizialmente non sapevo bene cosa aspettarmi da questa nuova pista: è un tracciato molto diverso rispetto a quelli che affrontiamo di solito, e ho provato un mix di emozioni. Però, onestamente, sono molto felice. Stiamo continuando a fare passi avanti con la moto e stiamo guidando bene, nonostante sia la mia prima volta qui a Balaton. Voglio ringraziare il team per il grande lavoro che sta facendo. Ora l’obiettivo è continuare a migliorarci nei prossimi giorni.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Il fatto che questo sia un circuito nuovo per tutti ha livellato un po’ le carte, e siamo riusciti a entrare nella top ten: un risultato che conferma il piccolo passo avanti già visto a Donington. Qui a Balaton ripartiamo proprio da lì, e anche se siamo solo a venerdì, le sensazioni sono molto buone. Ci sono tutti i presupposti per vivere un weekend in linea con le nostre aspettative.”

Ryan Vickers got off to a good start at the weekend’s race at the brand new Balaton Park circuit, finishing tenth and eighth in Free Practice 1 and 2. On a day characterised by a track that was new to the riders, the Motocorsa Racing team rider was able to adapt quickly, finishing the first free practice sessions in the top ten and confirming the good feelings that had already emerged at Donington.
Ryan Vickers:
“At first, I wasn’t sure what to expect from this new track: it’s very different from the ones we usually race on, and I felt a mix of emotions. But honestly, I’m very happy. We are continuing to make progress with the bike and we are riding well, even though it’s my first time here at Balaton. I want to thank the team for the great work they are doing. Now the goal is to continue to improve over the next few days.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“The fact that this is a new circuit for everyone has levelled the playing field somewhat, and we managed to finish in the top ten: a result that confirms the small step forward already seen at Donington. Here at Balaton, we are starting from there, and even though it is only Friday, the feeling is very good. All the conditions are in place for a weekend that will live up to our expectations.”
