Prosegue con segnali incoraggianti il weekend di Ryan Vickers e il team Motocorsa Racing sul tracciato di Aragon. Il pilota guadagna la quattordicesima posizione, in zona punti al termine di Gara 1. In qualifica Vickers ha ottenuto la quattordicesima posizione in griglia, in 1’48.612, frutto di un buon feeling con la moto. Un risultato che, pur non essendo il migliore della stagione, rappresenta un passo positivo considerando che si tratta della sua prima esperienza sul tracciato spagnolo. La partenza in gara di Ryan è stata buona ed è da subito riuscito ad agganciarsi al gruppo in lotta per la top ten.
Ryan Vickers:
“Nel complesso è stata una giornata positiva. Dopo le qualifiche ero soddisfatto del mio tempo e del feeling con la moto, considerando che era la mia prima volta qui. In Gara 1 sono partito bene, ma all’inizio ho avuto problemi di grip e non sono riuscito a spingere come avrei voluto. Sappiamo di avere il potenziale per fare meglio e lavoreremo per essere più competitivi domani.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Chiudiamo Gara 1 con due punti, in quattordicesima posizione. Purtroppo nella prima parte di gara non siamo riusciti a sfruttare le gomme nuove e a tenere il passo del gruppo davanti. Nella seconda metà, invece, Ryan è stato più costante e il ritmo era competitivo. Ora analizzeremo i dati per capire cosa serve a Ryan per essere incisivo fin dai primi giri per lottare stabilmente con i primi dieci.”

Ryan Vickers and Motocorsa Racing Team continue to show encouraging signs at the Aragon circuit. The rider finished Race 1 in fourteenth place, in the points. In qualifying, Vickers secured fourteenth place on the grid, with 1’48.612 thanks to a good feeling with the bike. Although not his best result of the season, this is a positive step forward considering that this is his first experience on the Spanish track. Ryan got off to a good start in the race and immediately managed to join the group fighting for the top ten. In the early stages, however, he suffered from a lack of grip, which compromised his performance.
Ryan Vickers:
“Overall, it was a positive day. After qualifying, I was happy with my time and how the bike felt, considering it was my first time here. I got off to a good start in Race 1, but I had grip issues at the beginning and couldn’t push as I would have liked. We know we have the potential to do better, and we’ll work to be more competitive tomorrow.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“We finish Race 1 with two points, in fourteenth place. Unfortunately, in the first part of the race, we weren’t able to take advantage of the new tires and keep up with the group in front. In the second half, however, Ryan was more consistent and the pace was competitive. Now we will analyze the data to understand what Ryan needs to be effective from the first laps and go fight consistently with the top ten.”
