ARAGON FP1 P 17 – FP2 P 17
Esordio positivo per Ryan Vickers sul circuito del MotorLand Aragon, dove oggi il pilota britannico in sella alla Ducati del team Motocorsa Racing, ha preso confidenza con la pista spagnola durante le prime due sessioni di prove libere.
Nel corso delle FP2, Vickers ha fatto un passo in avanti rispetto al turo del mattino, riuscendo a migliorare di oltre un secondo nell’ultimo run. Un progresso che conferma il buon lavoro svolto con il team e che riduce il distacco dai piloti più esperti.
Ryan Vickers:
“E’ stata la prima volta qui ad Aragon e devo dire che la pista mi piace moltissimo. Nel pomeriggio siamo riusciti a fare un passo avanti rispetto alle FP1 e nell’ultimo run abbiamo migliorato di un secondo. Non siamo troppo lontani dai piloti davanti, quindi sono soddisfatto del risultato”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Per Ryan è stata la prima volta qui ad Aragon e il distacco di 1”4 dal primo è sicuramente positivo. Siamo contenti, anche se dobbiamo analizzare i settori 3 e 4 dove perdiamo più terreno. La diciassettesima posizione è incoraggiante: considerando che si tratta solo del secondo turno di libere e che Ryan è un rookie, ci sono le basi per fare un buon lavoro domani mattina in vista delle FP3 e successivamente della Superpole.”

Ryan Vickers made a positive debut at the MotorLand Aragon circuit, where today the British rider, riding the Ducati of the Motocorsa Racing team, got to grips with the Spanish track during the first two free practice sessions.
During FP2, Vickers took a step forward compared to the morning session, managing to improve by more than a second in the last run. This progress confirms the good work done with the team and reduces the gap to the more experienced riders.
Ryan Vickers:
“It was my first time here at Aragon and I must say that I really like the track. In the afternoon we managed to take a step forward compared to FP1 and in the last run we improved by a second. We are not too far off the front runners, so I am satisfied with the result.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“This was Ryan’s first time here at Aragon, and the 1.4-second gap from the leader is definitely positive. We are happy, even though we need to analyse sectors 3 and 4 where we lose the most ground. Seventeenth position is encouraging: considering that this is only the second free practice session and that Ryan is a rookie, we have the foundations to do a good job tomorrow morning ahead of Superpole.”
