Si sono conclusi i due intensi giorni di test sul circuito di Misano, durante i quali Motocorsa Racing ha lavorato senza sosta per affinare il setup della Ducati Panigale V4 R in vista del sesto appuntamento del campionato. Il team lascia il tracciato romagnolo con indicazioni positive e una solida base su cui costruire ulteriori progressi in vista della prossima gara.
Ryan Vickers:
“Siamo stati molto forti oggi, sono riuscito a migliorare il ritmo con le gomme da gara e sono molto soddisfatto. Abbiamo fatto passi in avanti importanti sul setup e ho avuto un buon feeling in sella. Ci siamo confrontarti soprattutto sul terzo settore, dove perdiamo più tempo: continueremo a lavorare su questo aspetto e sulla mia tecnica di guida in quella zona. Nell’ultima uscita con gomma SCQ stavo girando molto forte, purtroppo ho perso l’anteriore e sono caduto, peccato perché avremmo potuto chiudere nella top 10. Chiedo scusa al team per questa scivolata, ma sono contento del lavoro svolto qui e non vedo l’ora di tornare in pista per la gara.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Abbiamo concluso due giorni di test importanti,, con un grande investimento sia in termini di materiali Ducati da testare che di pneumatici Pirelli. Purtroppo la caduta all’ultima curva ha causato molti danni alla moto, ma il feeling tra pilota e moto è cresciuto moltissimo. L’unico rammarico è non aver centrato la top 10 che ci eravamo prefissati. Torniamo a casa con qualche ferita materiale, ma con la consapevolezza di aver svolto un ottimo lavoro. Ora ci prepareremo al meglio per il secondo round italiano del campionato. ”
MOTOCORSA RACING CONCLUDES MISANO TEST WITH CONFIDENCE: READY FOR SIXTH ROUND OF THE CHAMPIONSHIP
The two intense days of testing at the Misano circuit, during which Motocorsa Racing worked tirelessly to refine the set-up of the Ducati Panigale V4 R ahead of the sixth round of the championship, have come to an end. The team leaves the Romagna track with positive indications and a solid base on which to build further progress ahead of the next race.
Ryan Vickers:
“We were very strong today, I was able to improve my pace on race tyres and I am very satisfied. We made important steps forward on the set-up and I had a good feeling in the saddle. We fought especially on the third sector, where we lose the most time: we will continue to work on that and on my riding technique in that area. On the last exit with SCQ tyre I was lapping very strongly, unfortunately I lost the front and crashed, a pity because we could have finished in the top 10. I apologise to the team for this crash, but I’m happy with the work we’ve done here and can’t wait to get back on track for the race.”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“We completed two important days of testing, with a big investment both in terms of Ducati material to test and Pirelli tyres. Unfortunately the crash at the last corner caused a lot of damage to the bike, but the feeling between rider and bike has grown a lot. The only regret is that we didn’t reach the top 10 that we had set ourselves. We go home with some material injuries, but with the knowledge that we did a great job. Now we will prepare ourselves in the best possible way for the second Italian round of the championship.”
