CREMONA RACE 1: P 16
Prima gara al Cremona Circuit, autodromo di casa per il team lombardo Motocorsa Racing, conclusa in sedicesima posizione. Ryan Vickers non è entrato in zona punti per un soffio, a causa di una noia tecnica. Il team lavorerà duro per migliorare in vista della Superpole Race e di Gara 2 di domani.
Ryan Vickers:
“Prima gara qui a Cremona, sono contento. Avremmo potuto fare un ottimo giro veloce, ho fatto un 29.4, che è stato il mio giro più veloce qui. Un po’ di persone sono cadute davanti a me, per cui ho dovuto evitarle e ho perso molto tempo, penso che sarebbe stato possibile per noi fare un tempo migliore e trovarci in una buona posizione. Il passo gara è stato buono, alla fine ho chiuso in soli 10 secondi. Ho avuto qualche problema con il cambio e ho perso due posizioni sul finale. Sappiamo cosa dobbiamo migliorare per domani.””
Lorenzo Mauri:
“Il passo di gara conferma quelle che erano le nostre aspettative, abbiamo sbagliato le qualifiche, che purtroppo rimangono il nostro tallone d’Achille e partendo dalla ventesima posizione ed essendo così alto il livello, essendo anche tutti così vicini, diventa difficile sorpassare per tutti, non solo per noi. Dobbiamo lavorare per risolvere il problema delle qualifiche, risolto questo il nostro target è da top ten.”

First race at Cremona Circuit, home circuit for the Lombardy-based Motocorsa Racing team, finished in sixteenth position. Ryan Vickers missed out on the points by a whisker due to a technical problem. The team will work hard to improve ahead of tomorrow’s Superpole Race and Race 2.
Ryan Vickers:
“First race here in Cremona, I am happy. We could have had a good fast lap, I did a 29.4, which was my fastest lap here. A few people crashed in front of me, so I had to avoid them and lost a lot of time, I think it would have been possible for us to do a better time and be in a good position. The race pace was good, in the end I finished in just 10 seconds. I had some problems with the gearbox and lost two positions at the end. We know what we have to improve for tomorrow”
Lorenzo Mauri:
“The race pace confirms what were our expectations, we made a mistake in qualifying, which unfortunately remains our Achilles heel and starting from 20th position and being so high the level, also being all so close, it becomes difficult to overtake for everyone, not just for us. We have to work to solve the qualifying problem, solved this our target is top ten.”
